A complete system starts with a clear plan.

Your proposal identifies:

  • The areas and features to illuminate.
  • Intended lighting effects and proposed fixture locations.
  • Selected equipment and applicable specifications.
  • Transformer capacity, cable routes, and connections.
  • Controls and agreed operating settings.
  • Access and installation requirements.
  • Testing and adjustments included in the scope.
  • Cleanup, exclusions, and price.

Fixture count follows the design and agreed scope. New outlets, electrical circuits, hardscape modifications, and extensive surface restoration are not automatically included. Required electrical supply work is identified and handled through the appropriate qualified scope.

Choose equipment around the design—and future service.

Fixture construction, light output, beam spread, shielding, controls, and serviceable components affect how a system looks and how it can be maintained. We identify the selected products in your proposal so you can understand the equipment and applicable coverage.

AMP® professional equipment

As an AMP® Pro, ECL can specify professional lighting equipment suited to your design and service needs.

Manufacturer coverage varies by product, component, application, and current terms. Your proposal identifies the selected equipment and applicable coverage. Manufacturer product warranties and ECL installation or service terms are separate.

Repair, upgrade, or replace? Start with the condition.

A failed light does not always mean the whole system needs replacement. We review the issue and accessible equipment before recommending a repair, an upgrade, or a new system.

Compatibility, cable condition, transformer capacity, parts availability, and the result you want determine what can reasonably be retained.

Good questions. Clear answers.

How much does landscape lighting cost?

New residential low-voltage systems start at $3,595. Your price depends on the design, equipment, power and cable layout, controls, access, and installation requirements. Repairs, additions, and commercial properties receive separate estimates.

What is included in the starting price?

The starting price is a minimum for new residential systems, not a fixed fixture package. Your proposal identifies the equipment, areas, installation work, controls, and price for your property.

Can you repair lighting you did not install?

We can assess an existing low-voltage landscape lighting system. Repair options depend on its equipment, wiring condition, access, and available compatible parts.

Can you add lights to my existing system?

Possibly. We review transformer capacity, wiring, equipment compatibility, and the intended result before quoting an expansion.

What areas can you light?

We can review architecture, trees, gardens, paths, steps, entrances, and outdoor gathering spaces. The proposed effects and installation depend on the property and agreed scope.

Can I choose fixture styles?

Yes. Share styles or examples you like. We help match appearance, output, beam spread, placement, and serviceability to the design. Available equipment is confirmed in your proposal.

Will the lights shine into windows or neighboring properties?

We consider viewing angles, placement, aiming, shielding, and output when planning the system. Tell us about sensitive windows or neighboring areas so those concerns can be addressed in the design.

Can the lights turn on and off automatically?

Control options depend on the selected equipment. Your proposal identifies the controls and operating settings included. App-based or advanced controls are not automatically included.

What warranty is included?

Manufacturer coverage depends on the selected products, components, use, and current terms. Your proposal identifies applicable coverage and any separate ECL installation or service terms. Product coverage does not automatically mean free labor or site visits.

Do you provide commercial, parking-lot, or emergency lighting?

We review low-voltage landscape and architectural accent lighting for suitable small commercial properties. Parking-lot, emergency, required building, and other line-voltage lighting are outside this standard service and may require a separate qualified electrical scope.

See your property in a new light.

Tell us what you want to illuminate—or what is no longer working. We’ll help define the next step.
